Dog access policy

With the opening of the Chien Mondain boutique, we are now happily accepting dogs throughout Place de la Cité under certain conditions. To ensure that all our human and canine guests benefit from an optimal shopping experience, our dog policy rules must be followed. Please see below:

Our policy
  • A dog-sitting service is available at the Chien Mondain boutique, located near the Amber entrance.
  • Dog waste bags are available at the Customer Service desk.
  • Should your dog accidentally “do his business” inside the shopping centre, we kindly ask that you inform security or customer service so that we can thoroughly clean the area.  
  • Your dog must be on leash at all times.
  • You must control your dog (barking, etc.) at all times.
  • You are responsible for any damage caused by your dog. You may be charged for any costs incurring from these damages.
  • You will be held responsible for any financial and moral damages in case of an incident between your dog and a client.
  • The client shall release, indemnify and hold harmless the Rockland Centre, its owners and managers from any damaged caused by his or her animal. 
  • Except for assistance dogs, dogs are prohibited from restaurants, coffee shops, the food court, escalators and all stores, excluding Chien Mondain.
  • No training activity will be tolerated.
  • Your dog's leash must be a maximum size of 1.85 m.
  • Dogs over 20kg must have a harness or halter.
