Whether you can’t wait for the snow or dream of escaping to the South as soon as the temperature drops below zero, it is possible to love the cold season for all that it has to offer. The secret? Finding happiness in the little pleasures that winter has in store for us! Here are our 3 favorite ways to enjoy this unique season.
When we were children, we all used to play outside, whatever the temperature! At playtime, we put on our snowsuits and had fun sledging, building forts and even throwing snowballs at each other when the teachers weren’t looking! This winter, we challenge you to get out and about as often as possible! There are so many fun winter sports to enjoy, alone or with the family: skating, sledding, tobogganing, skiing, snowshoeing, and much more! With the right equipment and good clothes that keep you warm and dry, it’s so nice to be active in winter!
What a pleasure to come back to the warmth after exerting yourself in your favorite winter sport! You come back with rosy cheeks, a smile on your lips, your body full of endorphins and your mind at peace. Take advantage of this moment to switch to total relaxation mode. First, treat yourself to a shower or bath with essential oils to relax your hard-working muscles. Then pamper your body from head to toe with your favorite lotions, creams and oils. Finally, put on some cozy clothes, make yourself a hot drink and get on with your favorite relaxing activities! It’s the reward for brave sportsmen and women who have braved the cold!
Without feeling guilty, we watch the snowflakes fall and take advantage of this Zen moment to slow down, take care of ourselves and recharge our batteries. Reading, crafts, board games, puzzles: there is no shortage of options for enjoying this precious time at home. And to make the space even more cozy, why not set up a room especially for relaxation? Add plants, a rug, warm blankets and you’re done! Zenitude is yours!
We hope you enjoy winter to the full and create some unforgettable memories!
