A $10 million investment in Place de la Cité
On September 21, the third Avril branch in the greater Quebec City area officially opened its doors to the public.Representing an investment of 10 million dollars and having led to the creation of 100 new jobs, some of which are still to be filled, the new health food supermarket benefits from a choice location in the Sainte-Foy sector on Laurier Boulevard. This third April in the region is also the eleventh in the province and the third largest branch of the independent Quebec chain. Covering an area of 36,000 square feet, the establishment offers certified organic fruit and vegetables, groceries, supplements and cosmetics under one roof. In addition, there is a food court including specialty counters as well as a dining room and terrace with a total of more than 190 seats.
Improved customer experience thanks to several new features
The population of the greater Quebec City area quickly adopted Avril, as soon as it was introduced to the market a few years ago.With this new supermarket, they can now enjoy an even more comprehensive range of healthy products, with the addition of a new bulk goods station, an increased food service offering and new specialty counters.
